Call for Papers

Original and Previously Published Works

We invite researchers to submit their original or previously published works on methods and datasets that study and expand the capabilities of DNNs for recognition in an open world.

Topics of Interest

Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):

  • benchmarks for OOD detection
  • leveraging generated and simulated data for OOD detection
  • open world recognition / open-vocabulary recognition / foundation models
  • OOD and domain shift detection, OOD tracking
  • advances on the SegmentMeIfYouCan and Fishyscapes benchmarks
  • domain adaptation and generalization

Submission Guidelines

Prepare an anonymous paper of no more than 9 pages (excluding references) according to the BMVC 2024 submission guidelines. Make sure to use the corresponding \(\mathrm{\LaTeX{}}\)-template.

Unlike the main conference's submission guidelines, you do not require a paper ID. Simply keep the PDF version of your paper anonymous while entering your name in the submission form. This also means you will submit your abstract and full paper at the same time.
